We met as classmates in culinary school where we first started talking in our ice carving class. We grew closer during a class trip, getting to know each other, and finding out we lived within 5 minutes from each other. That is when she bribed him into coming over to her place for some leftover cake from her baking class. He, obviously, could not pass up that opportunity. During spring break, she went back home to visit family. After a full week of video chatting everyday, we finally went out of our first date as soon as she came back to Oshkosh.

We went on a trip to the Bristol Renaissance Faire with friends. Everyone, except for Reese knew about it going into the trip. We had a full and fun weekend that ended with the highlight of the whole trip when we were taking photos and he finally got on his knee and asked the question she was waiting for.
