Things To Do

If you will be in the area for more than just the wedding we have a list of a few of our absolute favorite places to eat, drink, or spend an afternoon. If you have time we also recommend heading down to NYC, only an hour away from the ceremony.

Great local beer and the best food you will have at a brewery

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

Less than 5 minutes from the lake, this recently renovated roadside burger joint and ice cream stand is everything you want in the summer after swimming. Great ice cream, punched up classics, and a very devoted owner who doubles as the cook.

491 Redding Road, Redding, CT 06896

Saugatuck Falls is where Kyle proposed in April of 2025 while foraging for ramps. Follow the signs for the falls to find the spot or look at the map in the link provided. A light 20 minute round trip "hike". These trails also lead to neighboring "Stormfield", the former and final home of Mark Twain.

Our favorite Brazilian spot in a town with a lot of great Brazilian food
