RECOMMENDED: Destination Airport- Liberia Airport (LIR) The Main Event- Tamarindo, Costa Rica We will start events Tuesday October 1st, 2019 leading up to the Wedding on Sunday October 6th, 2019 @2:00pm. Feel free to book your travel dates as you’d like. DONT FORGET TO HAVE AN UP TO DATE PASSPORT PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS- A valid passport with at least six months remaining before the passport expires is mandatory to enter Costa Rica. You’ll want to download What’s App, as this is the main way of communication for people living and/or working in Costa Rica. Refer to our Travel Page for further details and assistance.

Answer

Guest arriving before scheduled events, and staying a few days after wedding, check that dates are available for flights on Alaska or Other airlines. If traveling throughout Costa Rica, SJO airport is also an option, and is the hub of Costa Rica for flight availability. _________________ Alaska airlines does not fly from LAX > LIR on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. _________________ Download Google Maps (iPhone Maps Will Not Work) Once you arrive to Costa Rica, have a rental car or driver setup to take you to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Once you arrive in Tamarindo, you will check into your hotel, villa, or air bnb. Tamarindo will be your destination. Small town. Everything within distance. GETTING AROUND COSTA RICA

During your stay in Tamarindo, if you are staying in town everything is walking distance within the center, other than the main event in Hacienda Pinilla. Hacienda Pinilla will be just a short distance away of 15 mins. Staying in Hacienda Pinilla, recommended to rent a golf cart, or car, or have a driver. Staying at JW Marriott, hotel amenities will be available at your feet, but if going outside of hotel, recommended to rent a golf cart, or car, or have a driver.

MONEY, ATM’S, CREDIT CARDS

Most all credit cards are accepted throughout CR for shopping and dinning. Find any local atm to get CR money. Or CR does accept American money. *The best way we’ve found to spend while traveling is to use a cc with no foreign exchange cost, or pull money out of the atm once you arrive to Costa Rica. Download the Currency App for conversions.

WHEN SHOULD I BUY MY TICKET

Recommended to buy at least 2 months before date. Buying too early, too late, or on difficult days can result in an expensive ticket. Tickets can be found at $500 or under roundtrip, so if any higher try to keep looking. If booking any earlier than 2 months and seeing $500 or under (we've seen as low as $350) thats a great price. Get it! **Alaska Airlines for Direct flights. Check alaskaair.com for flights **Other airlines are available to Liberia. Hopper is a great app for looking up flights - Download app on phone to keep track and watch for prices.

Definitely! If anything changes and you’d like to edit, complete, or add to your rsvp- just go back to rsvp page, input name, and edit.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online? Do I still need to RSVP if I cannot attend? *We'd love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP by August 6th, 2019 using the RSVP card that came in the mail or via our RSVP page online. Family and Friends who cannot attend, we'd love if you'd still RSVP (no worries we still love you!) Contact us for any questions or concerns. ATTIRE IN COSTA RICA

Casual CR doesn’t have a strict dress code, and casual is best for pretty much the entire country. During the season of October it will be tropical warm weather. If planning to do some adventure in CR, bringing a pair of closed toe shoes, lightweight jacket is recommended. It can get very warm, so bring lots of Sunscreen.
