Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Citizens Ballroom (2 East Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701). Once you arrive, you’ll be in the right place for the entire evening.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Formal/Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome, but a dark suit or formal cocktail dress is perfectly appropriate. December evenings in Frederick can be chilly, so plan outerwear accordingly.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

We've reserved a room block at the Hampton Inn by Hilton - Frederick (5311 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, MD, 21704). Please visit the “Travel” page of our website for the link to receive our reduced rate.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes. Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the Hampton Inn and the wedding venue before and after the reception. If you choose to stay somewhere else, please arrange your own transportation. Ride share services are easily accessible in the area.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

If you plan to drive, on-street parking is available throughout Downtown Frederick. There are also five public parking garages offering convenient and affordable parking. The venue is closest to the following: Court Street Garage - 2 S Court St, Frederick, MD 21701 Carroll Creek Garage - 44 East Patrick St, Frederick, MD 21701 Church Street Garage - 17 East Church St, Frederick, MD 21701 Garage parking is $1 per hour, and overnight parking is permitted.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list as we'd like to keep our wedding to just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

What happens after the reception?

Answer

After the reception concludes, shuttles will bring guests back to the hotel for the after party at the bar located on the hotel property. Late night food will be provided. Drinks will be available for purchase.
