Lake Toxaway
As the largest private lake in the state, Lake Toxaway is a serene mountain lake with chill, clear water and fantastic views. Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, guide and pedal boats can be rented through Guest Services. Boats can be rented at the marina to cruise the lake or spend the afternoon water skiing and tubing. Greystone Inn guests may rent boats at the hotel or the marina for use on Lake Toxaway.
Lake Toxaway Country Club
Guests at the Greystone can play a round at the gorgeous and private Lake Toxaway Country Club golf course. Highlighted by sweeping mountain vistas and breathtaking topography, the 18-hole championship golf course at Lake Toxaway Country Club is one of the premier courses in western North Carolina. The course provides a challenge to high-skilled players yet manages to place an emphasis on playability for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
One of our favorite breweries to stop by on our way back to Asheville from a hike for a cold one and live music. Conveniently located near the AVL airport. Tours are also available through their website.
The Spa at The Greystone Inn
Overnight guests and day visitors journey down a quaint path to enter our spa. Upon entry we provide complimentary citrus water and local hot teas, and you are welcome to relax as you await your therapy. Due to the intimate nature of our spa , we recommend reservations be made 24 hours in advance.
Panthertown Valley Trailhead - Public Access
A beautiful system of trails and waterfalls. Proceed with caution and a map- it is VERY easy to get lost on the unmarked trails.
