Please try your best to RSVP by 3/28/2026
Please try your best to include your travel plans with RSVP so we may include you in our numbers that are staying at the castle and can plan accordingly. We have approximately 30 rooms available to us for May 21st and May 22nd.
Update 2/21/26: We will not have a hotel block due to lack of availability. See google map screenshot at top of page. Anywhere in this vicinity will keep you close to other members of the wedding party. We will schedule transportation for large groups to travel from this vicinity to the wedding from Rome on May 21st. Additional transportation will be available back to the city or airport on May 23rd.
The standard average time to get a passport is 4-6 weeks. You can pay an extra fee to have this expedited and receive your passport in 2-3 weeks. We recommend that you also get your optional passport card as well.

They drive on the right-hand side of the road just like America
It would be recommended that you do not rent a car if you are staying within the city. Rome is very walkable and has many taxis or Ubers available. Additionally, there are traffic limiting zones that prevent tourists from driving within the city. You would have to park the car in a garage right outside the city, and then take an Uber to your hotel. We have done this before, and it's doable if you are thinking of traveling to other parts of Italy such as Florence or Milan. However, note that there are many excursions and tour busses available from Rome if you'd like to do a day trip outside of the city.
Rome is 6 hours ahead of EST.
The welcome dinner, wedding dinner, and breakfasts during your stay are included. There are additional restaurants across the street from castle if you wish to seek outside food: PELK Bar and Bistrot Marconi Caffe and Gastronomia.
Currently as of early December, every 1 Euro is approximately $1.19 USD. What does this mean for you? If your bill comes out to 5 EUR, you will pay $5.95 USD.
Yes. You will need a type L travel adapter. Sometimes hotels have a USB outlet for you to connect your phone cable (USB to USB-C), but this is not always guaranteed. Link below for purchase. https://a.co/d/7DhstK3
We love your little ones, but our celebration in Rome will be an adults-only event. If you have any questions or need to discuss special circumstances, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Our ceremony will be unplugged. Since we're getting married in such a special setting, we’d love for everyone to be fully present. Please keep phones and cameras away until after the wedding ceremony.
Expect classic Roman early summer weather—warm, sunny, and generally mid-70s to low 80s with low temperatures in the 50s-60s in the evening. Since our celebration will be outdoors, we recommend light, breathable fabrics during the day and bringing a light wrap or jacket for the evening, just in case it gets breezy after sunset.
