Ohoris is the best coffee roaster in town. Please stop by one of their many locations while you are here! Our guest, Zach Heming, can share how he purchases at least $100 worth of beans every visit to Santa Fe….it is one of our favorites!
This space has one of the best breakfast burritos in Santa Fe! Their treats are also amazing. We usually stop by this space prior to heading back to Colorado to get one last smothered New Mexican breakfast burrito.
Stop into Tomasita’s near the Railyard for a quick, traditional New Mexican meal! This has been one of the go-to spots for Kyle’s family and friends for the longest time. The service is quick, the food is great, but they do not take reservations. Roll up when you have plenty of time to spare and enjoy!
If you are looking for a weird time, enjoy the famous, immersive art experience that is Meow Wolf. The original Meow Wolf to boot! Kyle and friends used to go bowling here in the early 2000’s. Since then it has become an internationally known spectacle. This is apparently where Maria caught “the feels” when our work group took a night off in Santa Fe in March of 2018.
Looking to explore the mountain roads in the area? Take a cruise up Hyde Park Road to Ski Bueno (Santa Fe Ski hill) and take in the amazing views from the top of the road! There are plenty of small nature walks at the top to stretch your legs.
The Santa Fe farmers market is a favorite event to attend on Saturday mornings (hours 8am-1pm). Located at the Santa Fe Railyard, you can find yummy treats, spices, chile and all types of crafts from local communities. Kyle loves to visit when the green chile is roasting!
The Plaza Cafe is a classic diner in the heart of Santa Fe. It offers classic New Mexican fare and one of the best frito pies you’ve ever had. The frito pie is a favorite of Kyle’s grandfather. Bring an appetite as the portions are healthy and you won’t be able to stop eating the chile!
2nd Street Brewery on the Railyard is a great location for some brew-pub-esque treats. The fish tacos are killer.
