Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes! There is free event parking on the east side of Monroe Street Northeast north of NE 15th Avenue. Should that be full (and we don't have reason to believe it will be), there is paid event parking at the corner of Quincy Street NE and 14th Avenue NE. (See picture above.)

Question

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Yes! The shuttle will start running at 3:30 p.m. to get you to the ceremony by 4:30 p.m. It will also run at the end of the night. For those of you staying at the Loews, the shuttle will pick you up at the front circle. For those of you staying at the Emery, the shuttle will pick you up near the 2nd Avenue entrance.

Question

Marathon and Road Closures

Answer

FYI: The Twin Cities Marathon is this Sunday, October 3. The marathon starts downtown and there will be road closures, but no serious detours to get to the airport. Hopefully it will not have much impact for those traveling!

Question

What are the current COVID restrictions and anything else I should know?

Answer

Right now masks are encouraged according to the CDC, but are not required at Solar Arts. We will have some masks onsite for those who want them. Solar Arts staff will be masked. We have looked into the air flow and keeping the windows open as much as possible. If you don't feel well, or have reason to believe you may have been exposed, please do not come. We won't be mad!

Question

Tell me more about the food.

Answer

Here is further information about your dinner options in case you are struggling with the choices (all are great!): Pork Tenderloin: Pork tenderloin crusted in mustard seed and herbs, roasted and topped with a creamy mustard béarnaise, and served with mashed potatoes and butter-braised cabbage. (Gluten Free) Fall Sirloin: Grass-fed sirloin steak, herb-rubbed, grilled and sliced served medium rare with squash puree, roasted seasonal vegetables and a demi glacé. (Gluten Free) Fall Bone-in Chicken: Organic roasted bone-in chicken with garlic grits, roasted R&R Mushrooms medley and apple gastrique. (Gluten Free) Seasonal Stringozzi Pasta: House-made wheat pasta with lemon, seasonal vegetables, and shaved Spanish manchego. (Vegetarian)
