FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kristina Akesson and Kyle Marion
Question

Dress Code

Answer

Cocktail attire. Our venue is all grass, so stilettos are not allowed - let's keep your heels from going spelunking!

Question

What time should I plan to arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 1pm and try to be no later than 1:15pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 1:30pm :)

Question

Are the ceremony and reception located in the same venue?

Answer

Yes! The whole day will be spent at the one location. Get cozy!

Question

What is the transportation situation?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue if you would like to take your own car. We are looking into shuttle services, however, this is not a guarantee.

Question

What will the weather be?

Answer

It will likely be in the mid 70s for most of the day (happy to be alive weather!), but may get a bit chilly towards the end of the night. Feel free to leave a jacket or extra comfy shoes in the car!

Question

Is there cell phone service?

Answer

There will be cell phone service at the reception! However, when driving up the mountain there will be no service. Please plan accordingly.

Question

Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony - no phones out please! We want everyone to celebrate with us in the moment and our wonderful photographer will be capturing everything!

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, while we would like to accommodate everyone, we are trying to keep the capacity low. The only people that will be allowed at the wedding are the people specifically on the invitation.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will be having delicious tacos and quesadillas for dinner along with appetizers during cocktail hour and dessert later in the night.

Question

Accommodations

Answer

We are not booking any hotel blocks but there are a couple different hotels in Idyllwild as well as lots of Airbnb cabins. Please feel free to book whatever you would be comfiest with. See the travel section for more details.
