If you can't attend the wedding, please let Kyle or Kiana know as soon as possible. We completely understand, but if you can't attend we would like to save that spot for others.
Riu Palace Peninsula
As many as you want! (Wedding party needs to arrive 2 days before)
We recommend bringing: Water bottle LOTS of sunscreen (it is very pricey at the hotel). Light clothing (it is going to be June and very HOT). Bring cash!!! They take both US $ and pesos. Bring Pepto Bismol (for sensitive stomachs. They do have this for purchase on site, but is more expensive). Make sure to bring any necessary medication as it could be harder to get ahold of. (ex. Ibuprofen, prescription meds, azo (ladies!! very important!!), pepto)
Transfers are the best way to and from the resort, which needs to be booked online. Taxis are very expensive, and Uber/Lyft drivers can't enter the hotel zone. ( We have tried and can recommend: (https://www.cancunshuttle.com). Other transfers listed in the "Travel" section under Shuttles
Refer to the "Things to do" section.
Not anymore!!
We are arriving on 6/1, everyone else can arrive whenever! (Again, wedding party needs to arrive at least 2 days before the wedding (Tuesday June 4th).
This is an All Inclusive Resort! This means all taxes/food/drink/activities(exlcuding motor water sports, and excursions) are included. Gratuities are not required, but greatly appreciated! (NOTE: We will provide a booking link shortly for room discounts)
This is a beach vibe! We aren't expecting anything crazy as again, it is going to be HOT! (Men: Maybe a casual Hawaiian shirt and some khaki shorts/loafers/sandals (If you are a man and show up in sandals we will roast you, so be warned!!). Women: Maybe a cute summer dress/ nice shorts or skirt and top/sandals!)
No there is not. Just having our closest friends and family there with us is a gift in itself!
That is totally fine! There are taxis/transfers you can book through the resort at the front desk.
Yes! There is a club next door at the Riu Caribe. It is called "Pacha Nightclub" and is open Monday-Saturday 11pm-2am.
Yes! You can visit any other Riu resort in Mexico!
Obviously this is your vacation as well as our big day, but we kindly ask that all guests stay at the wedding resort (Riu Palace Peninsula). This is because the resort REQUIRES the wedding party as well as at least 80% of guests to be staying at the wedding resort. If you are planning to make other arrangements, please let us know IMMEDIATELY!!! This is very important as we are narrowing in on the big day!
