BEACHES
There are multiple beach access points along the coast between Del Mar and Encinitas. Most of these have parking lots (some paid, some free). Moonlight Beach Cardiff State Beach- Cardiff Reef Cardiff State Beach- Seaside Tide Beach Park (street parking only) Fletcher Cove Del Mar Shores Stairway (across the street from the Marriott hotel)
HIKING/ WALKING
Rail Trail Solana Beach: Paved trail along the rail corridor through the city of Solana Beach. Rail Trail Encinitas: Paved trail along the rail corridor through Cardiff. Coastal Walking Path: Part-dirt, part-paved walking path that runs along the beach and Hwy 101 from Solana Beach through Encinitas. San Elijo Lagoon: Well maintained dirt walking trials with beautiful views and access points in both Solana Beach and Cardiff.
BIKING
There are protected bike lanes and paths to enjoy a bike ride along the coast. Many bike rental shops are available in Solana Beach and Encinitas.
