Kyle and Katie both grew up in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania but did not meet until they were living in Wilmington, Delaware in 2021. While eating tacos and drinking margaritas on their first date, they connected over their love for cats. That summer, they fell in love at the Delaware beaches as Kyle taught Katie to wakeboard, play tennis and golf, and eat crab legs. Since then they have become inseparable partners in tennis as well as life. Kyle proposed to Katie on Christmas Day in 2025, and the couple can't wait to tie the knot with all their friends and family in coastal Delaware on June 26, 2027.
