We're getting married!

Our story began in fifth grade when Waverly and Eagle Elementary got together to practice for the annual soup supper band concert. Kyle remembers a “sassy, rude trumpet player” and Karlie Jo remembers a trombone player who “thought he was so funny.” -We like to think of that as our little “love at first sight” moment, being that we both remember our first memories of each other. They then went on to middle school where they developed crushes on each other. After a year, Karlie Jo asked Kyle why they weren’t dating and Kyle’s answer was “It feels like we already are” which was not the answer she was hoping for. That soon changed on Homecoming of 2015, when Kyle, with his heart racing, finally asked Karlie Jo, “Will you be my girlfriend?” and they could not have been more excited! Since then they’ve celebrated high school graduations, college graduations, lots of traveling, Kyle’s ongoing grad school career, an apartment with two cats and Karlie Jo’s new job adventures in Omaha together.
