FAQs

Everything you need to know about the wedding... so you don't have to group text our moms.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 15, 2026 so we can give our final headcount to the venue, make sure there’s enough food and drinks for everyone and avoid Kaitlyn having a mild wedding planning meltdown.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 10:30 AM so you have time to find your seat, say hello to a few people and get settled. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 AM and we promise you won’t want to miss the moment we officially make this whole thing permanent.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is semi-formal, church attire. Think nice dresses, button-ups, slacks or anything you’d wear to look sharp at a Sunday service. Basically: dress nice, look cute and save the sweatpants for the afterparty.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, only the guests listed on your invitation are included for the ceremony and reception on June 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. However, if you’re bringing someone along for the Vegas trip, they’re more than welcome to join in on any wedding activities happening outside of the ceremony and reception. The more the merrier for the rest of the celebration!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The bride and groom will be staying at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, but guests are welcome to book wherever they feel most comfortable. There are plenty of great hotel options all along the Las Vegas Strip depending on your budget and preferences. Just pick your favorite spot and come ready to celebrate!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking will be available at the venue, including handicap-accessible parking for anyone who needs it. So no need to circle the block or practice your parallel parking skills before arriving.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We have a party bus that accommodates 25 people. The bus will pick up from New York New York hotel at 9:45am. The bus will bring you to the venue and will return back to New York New York after the wedding.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! On Friday, June 19, 2026, we’re planning a casual dinner/social hour for anyone who will already be in town and wants to join. It’ll be a great chance to hang out, meet other guests and start the celebration a little early before the big day. More details will be shared as the wedding gets closer!

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

We will miss you, but we understand life happens. Just let us know through the RSVP so we don’t save you a plate and sadly eat it ourselves.

Question

Is this wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors, so no need to worry about melting in the Vegas heat or chasing your hair across the desert wind. Climate control for the win.

Question

What if I cry during the ceremony?

Answer

You’re absolutely allowed to cry. In fact, we’ll probably be crying too. Just know tissues may be required when we say our vows, so emotional support blinking is encouraged.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we’ll head straight into the reception, where there will be food, drinks and celebrating. Basically, the part where everyone relaxes and the party officially begins.

Question

Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

Of course! Feel free to share the love and tag us. Just make sure you capture our good side.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony and special moments throughout the day. Guests are welcome to take photos, but we kindly ask everyone to be mindful about phones and cameras during key moments. We’d love to avoid a sea of cell phones in the background of our wedding photos, so please enjoy the moment with us and leave the main picture taking to the photographer.
