Yes, but spaces are limited to a maximum of 40 vehicles. We would like to prioritize these for our older family and friends. Please consider taking an Uber or Lyft from your Airbnb or hotel. There is street parking, as well as a few parking lots throughout the downtown area. You can access a map of these parking lots here: http://www.nevadacitychamber.com/images/downtown_combo.pdf
The charming downtown district surrounding our wedding venue has restaurants galore, with a wide variety of cuisines and price points available. There are plenty of cute shops, and while finding parking can be tricky, the area is very compact and walkable. Amongst our favorites are South Pine Cafe and Three Forks Brewery; drinks can be enjoyed at Golden Era, a classy cocktail bar, and City Counsel is great for a nice cup of coffee in the morning. Grass Valley, the cute and slightly larger sister city, is only a few minutes down the freeway, and is also fun to explore. In March, the weather is unpredictable and could be sunny, rainy, or even snowy for the weekend. If sunny and nice, there are great outdoor options: Independence Trail West (easy 2.5 mile trail one way, located about 6 miles from Nevada City in South Yuba River State Park), Cascade Canal Trail (easy 4.5 miles one way, located a short distance east of Nevada City), and Condon Park which also has multiple small trails.
