Jacy and Kyle's romance began like any classic love story: with bottomless mimosas. It was the fall of 2016, and Kyle had spent the day watching the, at the time, undefeated Michigan Wolverines while testing the limits of Tap 42's "bottomless brunch" policy. Nine hours and one lost voice later, Kyle found himself scribbling "vodka soda" on a napkin, only to instead receive a rum and coke from the very bad, but very pretty bartender at Dicey Riley's. Although one couldn't talk and one apparently couldn't listen, Kyle and Jacy spent the rest of the evening "flirting" via bar napkin and hand gestures. At the end of the night, Kyle wrote one last message, his phone number, before leaving the bar without paying the bill. Shockingly, Jacy never called. But, eventually, she did swipe right. After a few run-ins and a handful of dad jokes Jacy reluctantly agreed to a date, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
