Old Fort Park

Small beach across the street from the park, there’s a pathway made from locals across the street entrance. Be aware that when the tide comes in, the area will become much smaller. It’s best to go after 2 pm.

Herman's Bay Beach

Usually not very busy

Weeki Wachee Springs State Park

Absolutely gorgeous spring but careful of gators and alligator snapping turtles. The water is quite cold as well but the view and the sights are absolutely worth it. They do rent out kayaks there as well

Savannas Preserve State Park-Hawk's Bluff Trail

Really nice walking trail

Saint Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park

Long sand bar to wade in usually pretty calm
