Kyle and Heather first met in 2007 when they were placed in the same gifted and talented middle school reading class. They remained friends through middle school and high school until Kyle finally popped the question and asked Heather to the senior prom. They have been together ever since.

They spent the morning at the title company signing the papers for their first house together. Heather was so caught up in the excitement of it being their last night in Dallas she hadn't given much thought to how persistent Kyle was to take their nightly walk one last time. As they walked through the park that night, she noticed Kyle seemed nervous. Finally it hit her as they came across the bridge that Kyle had covered in pictures of the two of them from their last 8 years together. He got down on one knee and popped the question again, but this time it was to spend the rest of their lives together and of course Heather said yes!
