As many of you know, Kyle is a jokester and planning the proposal was going to include some type of trickery. Kyle and I went hiking at the Pinnacles in Berea on October 17th, 2020, where we had first gone for our 6 month anniversary. I was suspicious already due to his grumblings of too many people on the hiking trails. We finally made it to the secluded "Buzzard's Roost". However, there were STILL people at the end of the trail. Kyle decided to take off the side of the cliff and I tried to scramble to keep up. As we finally make it to a truly secluded place on the side of the rolling hill, Kyle pulls out a ring box. I said, "No way! You're not proposing now!" and he responded, "You thought right", and threw the fake ring box into the wilderness. I just shook my head and laughed, turning around to take more pictures of the gorgeous view. I turn back around and Kyle has the real ring box and I say "YES!!" before he could even ask the question... and the rest is history :)
