Kyle and Haleigh met working at their first jobs at the local feed store in Elk Grove, CA. Haleigh had a total crush on Kyle the moment she met him but refused to be the one to make the first move. After about a year of Kyle writing Haleigh cute notes left in her office & on her car she was waiting for him to ask for her number or on a date. Haleigh was over these games as she knew he was the one she wanted. She eventually snagged Kyle's number off of an order sheet he had put in for a custom pair of jeans. She texted him "Guess who?" And he guessed it was Haleigh on the first try. The rest is history.

I had just graduated from nursing school, Kyle and I had just moved out together & we just took home our french bulldog puppy. Our lives were busy! We decided last minute that we could find a way to turn Kyle's 2-day off weekend into a 3-day weekend getaway. We decided to rent an airbnb in Sonoma Valley, hike & go wine tasting! But most importantly we would get to relax from our busy lives at home! We dropped off our puppy Stella at my mom's house for the weekend and off we went! The day Kyle was going to propose we were supposed to take a hot air balloon ride over the Napa Valley however at a 4:30 AM the company had cancelled on us and changed it for the next day. Kyle half asleep when I told him I got the cancellation text that morning said "It's okay let's go back to sleep, sleep in & go hiking like we had wanted to. After hiking we can still go wine tasting". We had hiked that morning an easy 3 mile hike around a local park in Santa Rosa and drove back to our Airbnb. Thinking back now it was weird to me that Kyle wanted to take his second shower for the day after our hike before we went wine tasting. I told him to add an extra layer of deodorant & cologne but he insisted on taking another shower. LOL. But at the time I didn't think much of it and off we went to a Matanzas Creek Winery after a good wine tasting & taking some pictures we moved on to St. Francis Winery in Santa Rosa. It was absolutely gorgeous we did a tasting and Kyle asked me if I wanted to walk into the vineyards although it was a busy day at the winery there was no one else in the vineyards as we we were talking. Kyle thought of the idea to set up my phone on self timer to get a couple cute pictures of us in the winery, we took a few poses & I asked Kyle if he wanted to to anymore. He said "Yes one more!" I pressed the button and ran over to him and he got down on one knee! It was absolutely the best day of my life and we have a real life picture of him proposing to remember it forever.
