It all started in the fall of 2022 when Gail and Kyle matched on Hinge — proof that good things do come from endless swiping. At the time, Kyle lived in Long Beach and Gail was in Santa Clarita (roughly 60 miles and a few podcasts apart). They agreed to meet halfway at Grand Central Market for their first date, where they instantly clicked over video games, food, travel, and being Filipino. Date number two? Knott’s Scary Farm — because nothing says "romance" quite like jump scares and haunted mazes. From there, the adventures just kept coming: exploring all over California, eating their way through new cities, and even traveling across the world from Mexico to New Zealand. Fast forward to April 13, 2025. The day before, Kyle had dragged Gail to the Long Beach Grand Prix (and yes, she deserves an award for pretending to enjoy it). To make up for it, he promised her a relaxing “lunch cruise.” That “cruise” turned out to be a romantic gondola ride through the canals of Naples, Long Beach — where Kyle surprised her with a message in a bottle proposal. Gail said yes immediately… and then told every single person who sailed by that they were engaged. Now, after miles traveled, countless dates, memories made and many laughs along the way, Gail and Kyle are thrilled to celebrate with their favorite people as they get Queen Married!
