What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal, coastal chic—think elevated, stylish, and effortlessly beachy. We’d love to see a polished look with a fun, vibrant twist. For women, floor-length or midi dresses in airy fabrics and bright, cheerful colors or bold prints are perfect. For men, a suit or dressy jacket is encouraged—ties are optional but always a great touch. Lighter colors and breathable fabrics will complement the coastal setting beautifully.

Are kids allowed?

We absolutely love your little ones! For our wedding, we’re keeping it mostly adults-only, with the exception of children in our immediate family. We’re also happy to welcome babies under one for our close friends. If your child is included, it will be noted on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

We recommend booking accommodations early, as Boca Grande is a smaller island with limited availability. A list of suggested hotels and rentals can be found on our Travel page.

What do we do if we can't find accommodations on the island?

Answer

Boca Grande is a small island, so accommodations can fill up quickly. If you’re unable to find a place on the island, there are many great Airbnb and VRBO options nearby. Please keep in mind that staying off-island will require crossing the bridge into Boca Grande, which includes a toll and additional travel time. We recommend planning ahead to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience getting to and from the celebration.

Should we rent a golf cart?

Golf carts are the best (and most fun!) way to get around Boca Grande—we highly recommend reserving one in advance, especially for the wedding weekend. Here are a few of our favorite rental options: Gasparilla Adventures Located right in the village, this is a go-to spot on the island offering 4- and 6-passenger carts and super easy pickup. Boca Grande Carts A convenient on-island option with a variety of carts and flexible rental options. Caddy Carts A well-known, family-owned company that delivers directly to your home or rental on the island—great for a seamless experience. Boca Grande Golf Cart Rental Offers a reliable fleet of electric carts in multiple sizes, perfect for groups and wedding weekends. We recommend booking early, as golf carts are very popular and tend to reserve quickly—especially during busy weekends. Boca Grande is best explored by cart, and most guests rent one for their entire stay to easily get to events, the beach, and around town.
