Parking can be tricky around Civic Center, so here are your best options: Recommended Garages Civic Center Plaza Garage 355 McAllister St — 2–4 minute walk Safe, closest, and easiest. UN Plaza Garage 333 Ellis St — 7–10 minute walk Performing Arts Garage 360 Grove St — 10–12 minute walk Street Parking • There is metered parking around City Hall, but it is limited and strictly enforced. • Double-check signs—street cleaning tickets are no joke in SF. Rideshare Uber/Lyft drop-off point: • 1 Dr Carlton B Goodlett Pl (right at the front steps) A great option to avoid parking entirely.
