We Are Getting Married!

Kyle & Courtney first met the summer of 2013 at their FGCU Freshman Orientation. They were in the same group and Courtney says her first impression of Kyle was" Um, he was just a tall, skinny, and quiet kid. I didn't remember him much." According to Kyle, "Courtney seems like a preppy, and very social girl that likes to start conversations." Talk about two very opposite observations haha By the end of the weekend orientation, once Kyle got to know Courtney better, he told his parents "Just you wait, I am going to find that girl when we get back and date her." And as we all know..the rest was history! Even though through their college years they dealt with a few bumps in the road; they grew together, learned from each other, took a few breaks here and there, and fought for what they wanted. I mean hey, who ever said dating through college was easy? Spring of 2018 Kyle and Courtney decided to make the move from Fort Myers to Orlando to start their life together. January 2020 they unexpectedly found out they were going to become parents of twins, and welcomed Colton and Kaden into the world August of 2020. July 2021 Kyle finally popped the question in front of family and friends; and the wedding planning began. Kyle and Courtney would not be where they are today if it wasn't for their supportive families, stubbornness, strong will, and unconditional love.(no matter how hard they tried to fight it in the past) They now live by the quote: Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Kyle and Courtney have an amazing life ahead that they are so excited to take on together with their beautiful family.
