Although we both grew up roughly 10 minutes away from each other and attended the same high school, we didn't really "meet" until much later on a Sunday night in New York City. Kyle was living in NYC at the time and Courtney had just graduated from Clemson and was in the city for a long weekend with her cousin, April. Courtney likes to think she made the first move asking Kyle via social media (yep you heard that right) for NYC recommendations, but Kyle did extend the actual invitation for drinks after his return back to NYC on Sunday from a weekend in Athens, GA. After many texts and calls, we went on our first official date when Kyle was back in Atlanta for Thanksgiving, another at Christmas, and then Courtney headed back to New York in February for a weekend. From there, things continued to progress and here we are. From two long distance stints (NYC to ATL and CLT to ATL) to a move together to California, we are so excited to start the next chapter of our lives together.
