Being in the mountains of Colorado we never really know what the weather could be like. So please check on your weather app in Jefferson, Co . Usually in September it is mid 60’s, but always the possibility of rain or snow.
We recommend looking into Airbnb’s near Jefferson, Co as well in Fairplay, Co. There are some campgrounds near by as well but we recommend reviewing websites as they do not have hook ups .
From Denver and North: we recommend driving Hwy 285 through the mountains , there will be stunning views of the mountains and hopefully fall leaves and beautiful aspens through Kenosha Pass. There is open parking , room for plenty of vehicles to park at the ranch and walk right to the reception. From Colorado Springs and south: Take Hwy 24 through Woodland Park through Hartsel, turn right and head north on County Road 9 to FairPlay, then another right on Hwy 285 to Guyton Ranch! 35293 US Highway 285 Jefferson, CO 80456
As much as we would love to see all the little ones , we are unable to extend the invitation to children . So leave the kiddos at home , make it a date night :) We can’t wait to celebrate with you !

Please arrive by 2:30 The ceremony will be starting at 3pm on 9/27/25 . We ask that all guest arrive at least 30 min before the ceremony starts . Please consider weather in your drive time , parking , and getting seated . Please do not arrive before 1:30 as we will be doing photos and vendors setting up. Password required before for 1:30 :)
When you arrive at Guyton Ranch there will be a clear space for parking , followed with signs that will lead you through the barn doors to the ceremony. We ask you not to venture off to the other buildings on the ranch other than what we have clearly identified as places for guest. (Ceremony area, cocktail area, reception area, bathrooms, and bar )

The reception is directly behind where the ceremony will be held , and next to cocktail hour. Just a quick walk .
Yes !!! Drinks are on us , the hangover is on you !! Cheers!! Please bring cash to tip bartenders!! No drinking and driving !!!! It is dark in the mountains , lots of wildlife , and windy roads . Please make accommodations to get to your destination safely after the reception.
We will be doing a sparkler send off around 9:30 -10 and sending our vendors home. But the party doesn’t have to stop , stay as long as you want. :) We will have speakers to dance the night away and a few late night bites.
We will have centerpieces with table numbers on them and a mirror seating chart . Look for your name and table number . And please be seated after cocktail hour. The table numbers will start at one on the right side and go up and down the table rows .
Dinner will start at 5:30. We will call up table numbers to go to the buffet. Menu: Grilled Beef Tenderloin, served with demi glaze and bearnaise sauce Gluten-free Stuffed Chicken, roasted chicken breast stuffed with sauteed spinach, crispy prosciutto, and smoked gouda Gluten-free Traditional Caesar Salad, freshly torn Romaine lettuce tossed with garlic croutons, Parmesan cheese, served with a traditional Caesar dressing Roasted Asparagus, garnished with julienne bell peppers Gluten-free, Vegetarian, Vegan Rosemary Roasted Potatoes, tossed with rosemary, parsley, thyme and salt Gluten-free, Vegetarian, Vegan Cupcakes vanilla and chocolate

This is a semi-formal event. Our ceremony will be held outside , so please consider checking the weather to decide how to dress . It could potentially rain or snow during this time in Colorado so come prepared . This is a ranch, so please wear comfortable footwear, most of the areas of this ranch is small rocks and grass . We don’t want someone twisting an ankle. Ideas for the gentlemen, nice jeans and a button up is the minimum, but feel free to dress as formally as you want! Ideas for the ladies, long dresses, rompers. Lets all look good for the pictures!
