This story begins six years ago at The University of Iowa where two college kids took a picture on Halloween night. It would be months before their path's crossed again but this time, the timing was perfect. Their relationship grew from study nights in the library to sorority date events to an undeniable young love. The Athlete (him) and The Romantic (her) had found their one- he makes her watch hours of football on end and she makes him watch Crazy, Stupid, Love on repeat. And they wouldn't want it any other way. Fast forward five years and these two have settled into their life in Chicago with their pup Bella and have carried that young love with them. They've traveled together, grown together and now are getting married!

Kyle spent the day at work while Cassidy spent the day getting ready for (what she thought was) Kyle's 26th birthday weekend. Little did she know, Kyle had snuck away to the suburbs weeks before to plan the proposal with her parents. Kyle's plan was going accordingly as the two finished happy hour at Cafe Brauer and took a stroll through the Lincoln Park boardwalk with their dog Bella. It was there that Kyle got down on one knee and asked Cassidy to spend the rest of their lives together. McCUE the tears, it was the easiest "YES" she's ever had to say. The surprises continued then and there as a photographer and Cassidy's parents popped out of the bushes (more tears) and another surprise when Kyle's family arrived on Saturday. The two soaked in their engagement that night with a champagne filled couple's dinner at Picollo Sogno. Dinner was followed by phone calls to family and friends sharing the news. Saturday was spent with family celebrating the engagement and amazing memories to come. Now, they are so excited to celebrate with all of you as these two tie the knot!
