The dress code for our wedding is formal attire--think formal cocktail or long dresses for the ladies, and men are encouraged to wear suits. If you're looking for inspiration, take a look at the reception venue's instagram page to get a better sense of the vibes and space! https://www.instagram.com/grazinaeventspace/
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate your little ones at the reception due to space limitations. However, children are more than welcome to attend the ceremony if you would like to bring them along! If you are traveling and need help arranging local childcare, please feel free to reach out to Bridget or Kyle.
While we do not have a hotel block, we do have some suggested hotels on the "Travel" tab! The Four Points Sheraton in Norwood is closest to the reception venue. There are a ton of great options around the city if you want to spend time in Boston while you're here--please reach out if you'd like some additional suggestions for staying in Boston! If you'd prefer to stay closer to the venue but still want things to do while you are in town, we recommend staying at Patriot Place in Foxboro.
Our ceremony will be a wedding mass, which will be about an hour long. If you aren't familiar with a Catholic mass, don't worry! Our celebrant, Father Bryan, will let everyone know when to sit, stand, and kneel.
Yes, there will be a gap in between the ceremony, which will likely end shortly after 3pm, and the reception, which begins at 5pm--between chatting at the church and driving to the reception venue, we expect that you'll have about an hour of time to kill! If you'd like to stop for a drink along the way, we recommend Blue on Highland in Needham, Yard House in Dedham, and Castle Island Brewing Co. in Norwood.
Although we are not hosting a formal welcome party, we are hoping to pick a spot for anyone who'd like to come hang out for a drink on Friday night! Stay tuned for an update on any wedding-eve festivities.
Same answer as welcome party!! Again, we're planning to pick a spot for anyone who'd like to keep the party going to meet up after the reception, so stay tuned for an update!
