Foundation
Ranked in the top 10 best tiki bars in the world (but definitely #1 in our hearts), Foundation is an amazing hidden gem that we try to take all of our out of town guests to. You could literally pick any drink at random from their menu and be head over heels: both from the alcohol content and the art form that the bartenders display.
Nino's Southern Sides
One of the absolute BEST places for southern comfort foods!
Thai-namite (Brady St.)
This is one of our favorite places to eat! It was dangerously close to our first apartment together, so we got to know this place pretty well. Everything they have to offer is *chef’s kiss*
Cielito Lindo
Craving Mexican food? Look no further. Kyle loves their mole chicken and I love their tostadas, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
Stone Creek Coffee - Factory Café
We are very frequent guests at Stone Creek on Downer, but this location is so cool and closer to our venue! Their coffees are smooth, the lattes are rich, and the atmosphere is a perfect match.
Crossroads Collective
This place has it all! We frequently stop in for ice cream at Scratch (vegan options as well!), or for a drink to enjoy at the cute little outdoor patio!
Milwaukee Public Market
This place is a beautiful maze filled with amazing food, wonderful vendors, and everything in between!
Up-Down MKE
A 2-story arcade bar that also serves pizza! Need we say more.
Nine Below
An indoor build-your-own-course mini-golf spot! Bonus: it also has a bar with amazing cocktails and a good beer selection.
Lake Park
This is where we took our engagement photos! Lake Park is beautiful park to walk around in and the ravine trails are some of Cooper’s favorite.
Veterans Park
Another beautiful spot to visit for some outdoor time! There are bikes to rent, kites to fly, and it is very close to the Art Museum as another bonus!
