Kyle and I met on a dating app called “Plenty of Fish” Kyle’s profile pic was a picture of him in his motocross gear at a dirt bike track wearing a cowboy hat. So of course I had to meet this guy! So after some deep stalking on his profile I came across his dating tag line that read “if you can beat me at go-cart racing, drinks are on me”. Soooo naturally my inability to flirt and extremely competitive personality led me to message him saying “I like wining and free drinks”. Thankfully Kyle had a competitive personality too so that message lead to a first date at K-1 Speed, dinner and free drinks even though I LET him win every race ;) And the rest was history.

After two and a half years of dating, I knew Ashley was the one I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with. After a conversation with her father, a trip to the family jeweler, and recruiting Bo for my mission, I was ready to pop the question. We both love the outdoors so Big Bear was the best location I could think of to make it happen. On the morning of, Ashley was under strict instructions to be ready to go out the door with the dogs for a hike at 6am ( if you don't get to Big Bear before 8am there is no parking). Naturally, because Ashley can never be on time for anything, we left the house at 8am. Once we got to Big Bear there was no where to park and I was ready to give up at this point. last minute I decided to call an audible and go to Arrowhead to try a hike that overlooks the lake. When we got to the top we took a break to let the dogs play in the snow and eat a snack. The time was now or never so with the help of Bo and a collar tag I got him with "will you marry my dad," on it I got on one knee and asked Ashley to marry me. Thankfully she said "Yes!" and here we are today!
