Ashley started a new job in Greensboro, a lovely town in rural west Alabama. On her first day getting a tour of the town she was introduced to an architect working away in a Red Barn studio. Kyle, not the most outgoing of the bunch, was uninterested in small talk about his sketches. Though being two of thirty young folks in a small town, Ashley and Kyle inevitably kept running into each other and soon became friends. Ashley caught Kyle's eye with a few athletic throws on the ultimate frisbee field. One rainy night, they were the only two to show to up for frisbee and Kyle asked for Ashley's number... and from there a relationship grew. Kyle was there to celebrate when Ashley got into medical school with tequila and home made cake. Ashley was there to make muffins from scratch for Kyle's country-long interview trail for grad school. Their relationship continued to grow even when separated by thousands of miles- from the University of California Berkeley to the Medical College of Georgia. They even survived long distance from Bangalore to Augusta! When not studying and working away, life held so many adventures and travels. From Italy to India to Thailand, when Kyle got down on one knee and asked Ashley to continue adventuring together for the the rest of their lives.
