At Four Seasons Health Club in Glassboro, NJ, you can fall in love during any season! Kyle and Alyse both attended the same gym for over two years, yet they never once communicated with each other. Alyse didn’t know Kyle existed, but she was definitely Kyle’s gym crush. It wasn’t until Alyse’s mom approached Kyle at the gym that their lives would finally collide. According to Kyle, BitesizedMom looked like a lost little puppy trying to use the leg press machine, so she decided to ask the tall, dark, and handsome man using the machine next to her for advice. Kyle graciously showed her how to use the leg press, because you know he lifts, and before they knew it they were talking about Alyse. The ice was broken. It was later that night after a glass of wine, and some motivation from his roommates, that Kyle decided to message Alyse on multiple social media platforms in a desperate cry for attention. Thinking back, it was probably several glasses of wine that led to this liquid courage. Little did Kyle know, that same night, Mrs. Scaffidi was sharing her gym experience with Alyse, raving about the stud she met doing legs on a Monday. The stars were aligning. Alyse saw one of Kyle’s messages and showed it to her mom, who confirmed it was him, her prince charming. Alyse and Kyle then exchanged phone numbers and began talking on a daily basis. With Kyle’s charm and personality, and Alyse’s sole dream to marry someone tall, true love was inevitable. They eventually scheduled their first date at Terra Nova, and the rest is history.

As you all know Kyle and Alyse got engaged in Peru on top of Machu Picchu. Kyle can confirm it was by far the most nerve wreaking moment of his life, and not just because Alyse almost fell off of a cliff. The proposal was truly a clutch performance by the groom to be, but it almost happened a day too early. It was November 9th and they weren’t supposed to be at Machu Picchu according to their itinerary. Kyle was between a rock and a hard place (and hiding an expensive rock in his backpack). He knew they had a professional photographer planned for tomorrow, but also didn’t want to miss out on this perfect day. Kyle’s better senses won and he decided to wait to pull the trigger. This also meant he got to enjoy another night of horrible sleep and late night bathroom rehearsals. Kyle decided to drop the knee at the first photo opportunity to ease his internal stress. He instantly felt relief, but the stress quickly returned when he realized Alyse thought it was a joke. Kyle always messed around about doing a fake proposal, but how ignorant would it be to do it at a time like this. However, when he opened the little ring box, she quickly realized it was anything but a joke. Alyse dangerously jumped for joy and punched Kyle with both fists simultaneously in disbelief. She emotionally said yes to the ring she always wanted from the man of her dreams. Everything went according to plan, just not the way it was planned!
