Alison and Kyle met back in 2012 at, of all places, Space Camp. There was a two-day program called Aviation Challenge that Alison was accepted to, and Kyle's friend Jason brought him along (knowing he loved all things aviation). They first bonded over Straight to Ale's Monkeynaut IPA and all things space and aviation related.

Alison and Kyle began officially dating in May of 2014. Everything seemed to center around their love of beer and space. Their first trip together was back to Space Camp to learn about robotics and the International Space Station.

In July 2018, Alison and Kyle decided to take the next step in their relationship...and adopt a dog. Alison fell in love with the sweetest American Staffordshire Terrier/Dachshund/Bulldog/Chihuahua mix at a company retreat in Athens, and might have begged Kyle to let them keep her. Trudy Belle came bouncing into their lives full of love and the need for continuous belly rubs and all the snackies.

So, Alison has never been fond of celebrating her own birthday, she'd rather celebrate everyone else close to her instead. On July 22, Alison's 33rd birthday, Kyle decided to make it one she'd never forget. After dinner at Iberian Pig, drinks at Southern Gentleman, and a bag full of Kendra Scott, Alison was content and ready to call it a night. Little did she know Kyle had one more surprise, a perfect proposal at home with Trudy Belle at our side.
