How & when should I RSVP?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible by clicking the RSVP tab above. The deadline is October 5th. Our vendors require us to provide the final headcount by this date, so any unanswered RSVP's will be counted as 'no'. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! We kindly request a formal dress code. We suggest the gentleman wear a suit in any color and the ladies wear a floor-length dress (or even a nice pantsuit!). While Texas is usually quite mild in December, don't forget to check the weather before you join us.

When do i need to be at the venue?

Answer

Please be at the venue no later than 3:45pm, as our ceremony starts at 4:00pm. Shuttles will drop guests off around 3:30pm. Late parties will be permitted entrance at the start of cocktail hour.

Where should i stay?

Answer

We have three room block's: the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center, the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Plano in Legacy Park, and the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel. If you choose to stay at the Dallas/Plano Marriott or the Renaissance, transportation to and from the venue will be provided. We have listed other hotel options on the travel page of this website!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle service to and from the wedding venue for guests staying in two of our three Marriott hotel blocks. If you aren’t staying in one of our room blocks, you’re still welcome to uber to the specified hotels to use the shuttle, Uber, schedule a Fetii (these are larger vans/party shuttles that seat 18-20) or arrange a ride with other guests. Please check the travel page for information on which hotels will have shuttle service. Please note that the venue is somewhat remote, and Ubers may be difficult to secure at the end of the evening. If you choose not to take one of the shuttles back to the hotel blocks, we recommend ensuring you have reliable transportation home before arriving. If you choose to drive yourself to the venue, there is plenty of parking available on site.

What should I wear to the welcome party?

If you are joining us at Scruffy Duffies, bring your best Texas outfits! Our dress code is Cowboy Cocktail. We are going for an elevated western look, so please no shorts or t-shirts, but pull out your cowboy & cowgirl hats, Tecovas, and bolo ties! Long or short dresses for the ladies, sport coat for the men encouraged!

Can i bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding will be intimate to enjoy with our loved ones, so we are not extending plus ones at this time. If your partner is invited, their name will be included on your save the date and formal invitation.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be wine, beer, and cocktails available for the entirety of the evening. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!

Can i take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer capturing the ceremony for us! Other than the ceremony, yes! We encourage you to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Can i bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones, we really do! However our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of our ring bearers.
