2017: Our first date function - Kyle asked Alexis with 2 days notice so she had to express ship a dress to wear.

2018: After dating for two months, we starting long distance while Alexis was studying abroad in Spain. Kyle came to visit over spring break.

2018: Alexis is taken on her first Beck family vacation and first ever trip to Disney. She was tricked onto Space Mountain, but still hasn't conquered her fear of the Slinky Dog ride.

2021: Somewhere along the way Kyle grew a beard!

2021: After both graduating from JMU in 2019 and 2020, we embarked on too many trips once travel was no longer restricted during Covid. One of our favorites was to Bar Harbor, Maine!

2022: Another fun trip was ice fishing in Vermont - no fish caught but many memories made.

2022: We've been to so many weddings, we thought planning one would be a breeze - we were wrong :)

2022: Kyle was a good sport and wore a matching tie to Alexis's dress.

2023: In January we went on our first ski trip - Alexis's ego was bruised for a little bit.

2023: After claiming Kyle could never surprise Alexis and too many months of hinting, we got engaged on August 21st at an overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We both took the rest of the day off!
