WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

So Kyle and I met from working at the Center for Discovery, our old boss Alex was showing him around campus when I was getting out of my car to head into work. I ran into the house and I told all of the girls "Alex is bringing in this fine ass-red headed boy and he's mine, I'm going to have all his red-headed little babies". They all laughed, he came in and introduced us, of course me being me, I played it off like I was too cool for the "newbies" and I said "hey" and went on my way. But I was secretly crushing on him. Kyle was taken at this time so we didn't pursue anything until month's later when he took me on our first date to a restaraunt where I don't think the waitress could believe we were dating because she just kept flirting with him all night. But needless to say his eyes were only on me. At that moment I just knew he was going to be my forever. The rest I guess you can say, is history.

In February after a big snow storm Kyle came home after work, he had just finished shoveling so much snow at his parents house as well as work. I had also just finished shoveling our driveway as I didn't want him to have to shovel a 3rd time. I was laying by our pellet stove trying to get warm and Kyle said to me "Do you love me?" and I said "Yes! of course I love you, are you okay? is something wrong?" and he said "Could you see yourself with me forever?" and I said "yes I can?, are you okay?" and he got down on one knee and popped the question and it was just him, the kids and I on a snowy day in a state of an emergency and it was just perfect. We are so excited to start this next phase of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you. See you on the dance floor September 30!!
