We met at a Dickey's Barbecue Drive thru. Abbi started working at the chain restaurant in Bryant and transferred to the Fayetteville location when she started college, Kyle was also going to Fayetteville and Dickey's was a frequent and convenient stop. Abbi was working the drive thru when Kyle and his group of friends came through to get some food on game day. Kaden Crow was first to come through in his truck and Kyle was in the next vehicle, without remembering exactly what was said, Kyle definitely knew about Abbi before he got to the window. He wrote his number on a receipt and waited to hear from her. Abbi saw the number and put the receipt with the others to be turned in at the end of the day, it was game day after all and boys will be boys. A week later one of Kyle's friends, Shea, was at Dickey's and mentioned to Abbi that his buddy had written his number on the receipt, she remembered but honestly wasn't expecting anything else to come from it. Shea gave her Kyle's number again and told her he was waiting for a reply. Conversations started and here we are today! Needless to say we will be eating barbecue on our wedding day!
