The Arkansas River and Chalk Creek are near our venue and well known for quality trout fishing. The Arkansas River and Brown's Canyon are also known for world class rafting.
Hike
This area is well known for hiking. The Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area, known for a high concentration of Colorado's 14ers, including Mount Princeton and Mount Antero, surrounds Nathrop, Colorado, and offers great hiking. Brown's Canyon National Monument is also nearby and offers tons of hiking trails. We use AllTrails to help us find hiking trails.
Scenic Drives
Colorado is absolutely stunning in the fall and has some of the most scenic drives we have ever done. The Collegiate Peaks Scenic Byway runs through Nathrop, Colorado. If you visit the attached website, you will find a map and more information on scenic drives from Nathrop, Colorado.
Off Road Trails and Rentals
There are off road trails nearby. There are also UTV/ATV rentals nearby if needed. Some trails include, but are not limited to, Alpine Loop, Wagon Loop Trail, Bald Mountain Gulch, St. Elmo, and Mount Princeton Chalet.
