We've known one another since high school, however we weren't in touch until several years after graduating. We reconnected over a photo that was posted of an adorable cat (thanks Alfred), and the conversation didn't stop there. Right away there was a sense of comfort around each other, bonding over our shared values and love of family. We moved into our first apartment together in Herndon, VA in August of 2022. We purchased and moved into our now home here in Charles Town WV in November of 2023 with the two cats, and later adopted our dog from a local shepherd rescue. The proposal came while on Christmas vacation in Orlando, FL with family on December 22nd, 2024 outside of Disney's Grand Floridian.
