This is the love story of Kyle and Megan. It was not a love story at first, but did grow into one. Kyle was 6 years old when he walked into Megan’s life who was only 5 at the time. She was the “annoying sister” to Kyle’s best friend. It is claimed Megan would chase them with shoes and sticks, but there is no picture proof of said stories. Kyle was known as the “annoying friend” who was always over. As time progressed, there were countless stories and shenanigan’s regarding Kyle and Megan’s brother. As an “annoying sister” should do, Megan often ratted them out to the parents. At times, Megan would be part of those stories. However, (almost) all the stories are known to the parents now that they are older. It was not until High School when feelings began to change. After Megan’s brother joined the army, Kyle kept coming around. First, it was due to the big stash of girl scout cookies they had, but those quickly were eaten by the Cookie Monster (aka Kyle). Kyle and Megan were doing everything together. Megan was known for leaving notes everywhere and began to leave notes in Kyle’s car that he would find on random days. Megan and Kyle often went for ice cream, the movies, and hung out at the house. When Megan graduated high school, Megan’s Mom took them all on a cruise for the first time. Kyle attended. Kyle kissed Megan for the first time (notably in front of her mother). The romance was sparked, but did not ablaze. Megan was leaving for college and Kyle had his own journey to take. During college, Kyle often visited bringing Valentine’s gifts, leaving notes, and other surprises. Kyle also often visited Megan when she worked at Kohls. Megan would visit Kyle as he worked at the Somerset Grille. Kyle would often take a break to steal some of Megan’s food and leave her notes. It wasn’t until after college when Megan moved home that the spark turned into a small fire. Megan and Kyle went to see every Disney movie in theaters together. Neither wanted to rock the boat and take the leap at that time. It wasn’t until 2020 when there was no turning back. Kyle finally admitted his feelings and that was it. Both Megan and Kyle would often plan romantic dates or gestures. Kyle even stood in the rain outside Megan’s window asking her to dance with him in the rain just like the movies. More often than that, Megan played jokes or did “jump scares”. Kyle and Megan welcomed their beautiful daughters; McKinley in March 2021 with Mia in August 2024. July 5th 2025, Megan and Kyle went on a spontaneous trip to Niagara Falls where Kyle proposed. Due to it being a long weekend trip, Megan insisted on her and Kyle sharing a suitcase. Kyle was insistent on taking his own, but caved. Unknown to Megan, he had the ring in his suitcase. As a result, he had to pivot and keep it in his pocket instead. Megan was unaware in the airport wondering why he was always trailing behind her and ushering her through security first. The thought did cross her mind, but she pushed it away. On the plane, Kyle was nervous. He anxiously made a comment about Megan not going through his pockets. Megan normally did not and found this odd, but again brushed the idea away. They arrived at Niagara Falls mid-morning. They settled in, got lunch, and decided to explore. Kyle was wearing a button up in very hot weather. Kyle and Megan walked miles on miles exploring the national park. They finally arrived to Terrapin Point. Kyle asked another couple to take our photo, but had it on video. When Megan turned around he was already down on one knee. Megan asked if he was joking and had missed him asking the question and made him ask again. Kyle did and Megan said yes.
