Kyle and Marlee found each other the only way to meet people during the pandemic, through Hinge, a dating app. They talked about their favorite things to do in the city and different areas they wanted to explore. This led to Kyle asking Marlee on their first date at a speakeasy both have been wanting to try. However, that date did not happen. Instead, Marlee asked Kyle to get drinks days before in the middle of Division Street at Hopsmith Tavern. Little did Marlee know at that time, Kyle was planning to move halfway across the country to Baltimore. However, this did not stop them from becoming inseparable that summer enjoying picnics in the park and going to the Lincoln Park Zoo almost everyday. When the time came for Kyle to move, Marlee made the decision to follow him and it was the best choice she has ever made. They got engaged a year and half later on their rooftop overlooking the harbor on a perfect Fall night. From meeting in Chicago, getting engaged in Baltimore, and then married in the city they fell in love, Marlee and Kyle are excited to begin their lives together surrounded by all their friends and family.
