FAQs

Question

Why Hawaii?

Answer

We’ve always dreamed of celebrating in Hawaii. Hawaii felt like the perfect mix of beauty, fun, and it's a great excuse for a vacation!

Question

When is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be on September 4th 2026 at 5pm!

Question

What cost will you cover?

Answer

We will be covering the cost of the ceremony, reception, and charter on the celebration day.

Question

Where in Hawaii is the ceremony?

Answer

We’re planning on staying on Oahu near Waikiki, and having the ceremony on Magic island. More info soon!

Question

Who’s invited to the ceremony?

Answer

As space is limited, only those who's names are on the invitation can join for September 4th activities, but we'll update everyone if this changes based on rvps

Question

Are kids invited to the Ceremony?

Answer

Kids are welcomed for the Charter and Reception, but due to limited space (because of Hawaiian laws) anyone under the age 13 will not be able to attend the ceremony until after the RSVPs are complete and we can see if there's space. We will update anyone with children as soon as we can.

Question

How long is this celebration?

Answer

We will be in Hawaii for about a week. Some of the days we are planning to be just the two of us, and other days will be group activities. We will have an itinerary out for those who wish to join for the group activities.

Question

Should I book travel now?

Answer

Yes! We have shared hotel links in the travel tab.

Question

What events will there be?

Answer

We’re planning a few fun group activities before/after the celebration — stay tuned for optional outings you can join!

Question

How many group activities should I join?

Answer

You aren't expected to join any, but if any seem interesting to you we'd love to have you!

Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Since this is a destination wedding we need RSVPs earlier than normal, so the deadline for RSVPing is February 1st. We will be giving up seats that were not rsvp by that date.

Question

What if I can't attend the destination ceremony?

Answer

We know a destination ceremony is a big ask, and if you're unable to make the trip, we totally get it. We are planning on doing a small get-together in North or South Carolina

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Traveling to Hawaii to celebrate with us is more than enough. If you'd like to purchase something from our registry, or contribute to the celebration fund feel free, but it's not expected.
