This love story began on February 12th 2018, when Elliot first laid eyes on a beautiful girl named Kylah. He was in Detroit visiting with friends who had gotten engaged that weekend. They both were invited that sunday to go to a local arcade, Zapzone with a group of friends. That is where they first had a connection or so Elliot thought. As they were leaving to go to the next location of the evening Elliot asked Kylah... Would you like me to ride with you? Kylah responded abruptly, NO I’m good! Elliot though rejected was persistent. Despite the first encounter they developed a strong friendship staying in contact for months. That friendship inevitably blossomed into the purest form of love. Through hectic schedules and long distance from Cleveland to Detroit Snow, Rain, or Sunshine they would drive to see each other even if for only one day!

On a cold day in December, Kylah thought she was going wine tasting with her girlfriends, but she had another thing coming. Elliot proposed to Kylah completely surprising her at Shain Park in Birmingham with huge Letters MARRY ME! On Bended Knee Elliot say’s, “The very first day I met you, I asked you a question. Do you remember what it was? It was did you want me to ride with you when we were leaving Zapzone. You told me no then, What about now? Will you Kylah Denise Shaw marry me?” with tears of joy Kylah responds YES! So Here we are today, planning to ride together everyday for the rest of our lives as husband and wife.
