Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Please note that there is no designated parking available for guests at the South Carolina State House. Since the State House is located in the heart of downtown Columbia, parking options can vary depending on the time of day and nearby events. Most available parking is metered and parallel along the surrounding streets. We recommend giving yourself a little extra time to find a spot before the ceremony begins.

Question

Should we expect to stand for a while?

Answer

As our ceremony will be short and meaningful, we don't anticipate our guests standing for an extended period. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are we allowed to take pictures/video record the ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for the intimacy of our ceremony, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or recording until it has concluded. We’ve arranged for a professional photographer to capture each special moment, so you can simply relax and be present with us. Later at the dinner party, we’ll have a QR code available where you can share your own fun memories and any photos you’ve taken throughout the day. We can’t wait to see the day through your eyes!

Question

Are we allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our event, we kindly ask that no additional guests or plus-ones attend. We truly appreciate your understanding as we keep this celebration small and meaningful.
