Hi everyone, Marcus the groom here! :) Kyla and I had always known of each other through common friends, but never knew the other until the start of 2023 when we started crossing paths at our church, Living Streams Español in Central Phoenix. It didn't take long on my end to get butterflies in my stomach every time I saw her (and still do), but once we started seeing each other randomly outside of church, that's when we knew something was there. After continuously seeing each other at church and then sporadically at coffee shops and occasional church events, someone had to make the first move. On Sunday, March 5th, at one of our favorite coffee shops, Valley Coffee Company, Kyla was that someone. She came over to where I was sitting, asked if she could see my phone, put her number in, and left. We went on our first date two days later at Luanas to discover who the other was over a couple beers, started officially dating on April 15th, and the rest has been the sweetest blessing from above. We can't wait to continue seeing how the Lord moves in each of our hearts as we draw closer to Him and each other in anticipation for our wedding day to come in what won't feel like any time at all.
