Question

What can I bring?

Answer

We'd love to have a potluck-style dinner. Please sign-up at this website to let us know what you are bringing! Scroll for common FAQ regarding the potluck. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4AA4AF2EA3FAC43-49507709-kyla#/

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

YES! We will have activities geared towards them!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We want everyone to be relaxed and have fun! Please wear something casual that you think is comfortable and cool (it will be the heat of the summer...). Some ideas are shorts, collared shirts, and sundresses. You can also lean into the theme of the wedding and wear retro, colorful statements! For anyone who is interested in ideas, you can check out our Pinterest board (only if you want)! https://www.pinterest.com/jessbroll15/casual-wedding-attire/

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot by the house on property (not the reception area) when you first drive up. It is on the right side, can't miss it!

Question

POTLUCK FAQ

Answer

Below are FAQ for guests bringing potluck side dishes. For any other potluck questions, please contact Jessica Nagle (Kilen's cousin) at 913-609-8800 or nagleweddings@gmail.com.

Question

Can I bring a hot side dish?

Answer

The venue has a limited number of outlets for crockpots and there is no oven on-site. For this reason, we would appreciate you bringing room temperature or cold recipes only. Please bring the food ready-to-serve in the buffet line to assist our friends and family in set-up.

Question

How many servings of a side dish should I bring?

Answer

We are expecting 275 guests, so the serving sizes and number of slots for each food in the Sign-Up Genius link (under Registry tab of this website) are based on our guest count. You can sign-up for multiple slots if you like, but truly, any amount is appreciated!

Question

When and where do I drop off my side dish for the potluck?

Answer

Please follow signs on the right side of the venue for food drop-off between 3:30-4:00PM on July 28th, prior to festivities. When facing the venue, you will see handicapped parking on your right. Walk past the handicapped parking and enter the right, side entrance of the building. You will enter the reception space and there will be a little kitchen directly to your left. Set the food on the counter in there. Please ensure your first and last name are on tape on the bottom of any non-disposable dishes you bring. Below is a link to the location where you will enter the building. https://maps.app.goo.gl/XotqoxdmwjZtVyVr8

Question

When will I pick-up my dishes at the end of the night?

Answer

Disposable dishes are preferred to ease dishware pick-up at the end of the night. If you bring any non-disposable dishes or serve ware, please ensure your first and last name are on tape on the bottom of any non-disposable dishes you bring. Please pick up any non-disposable items you brought by 10PM near the drop-off kitchen.
