Flight
Ibiza is easy to reach from most major European cities. There are plenty of direct flight options from Barcelona, Madrid, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Rome. If you’re flying from the U.S., we recommend connecting through Barcelona (BCN) or Madrid (MAD) for the quickest route. Travel Tip: April is a popular time to visit Ibiza, so booking flights early is encouraged!
House Or Rental
Our closest family and bridal party will be staying at Sermita Villa, where the wedding will take place. Guests are encouraged to stay nearby in San Miguel but you’re welcome to stay anywhere on the island — Ibiza is small and easy to get around by car. There are plenty of charming Airbnbs, boutique hotels, and small inns throughout the area. Some guests are planning to share Airbnbs or stay in the same hotels, so feel free to coordinate if you’d like to be close to friends. We’ll be dropping location pins closer to the wedding for both Sermita Villa (wedding) and Gustav’s Villa (welcome dinner) to make travel easy.
Rental Car
The best way to get around Ibiza is by renting a car. The island is very driveable, and having your own car makes it easy to explore, visit beaches, and get to the wedding events. Things are fairly spread out, so having the freedom to drive makes a big difference. There are taxis available on the island, especially from the airport and in larger towns. However, once you’re at your villa or accommodation, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to arrange a taxi pickup, depending on the area. Because of that, we recommend renting a car if possible — it’s the easiest and most reliable way to get around. For anyone who prefers not to drive, we’ll help guests connect closer to the wedding date to coordinate carpooling and shared rides.
Travel Note
If you’re struggling to find accommodation or have any questions about where to stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us personally. We’re happy to help or connect you with other guests who might be looking to share an Airbnb or stay nearby.
Travel Note
We want everyone to have an amazing time and a safe ride home after the celebrations. Taxis can be limited late at night near Sermita Villa, so we recommend planning ahead if you’re staying off-site. We’re looking into arranging a few safe ride options for the night — possibly through local friends who can help shuttle guests back to a central meetup spot or nearby accommodations. More details will be shared closer to the wedding, but in the meantime, we encourage everyone to carpool, pre-book taxis, or coordinate with other guests staying nearby.
