Black love

The great pandemic of 2020

Unless you’ve lived under a rock for the last couple of years you know about the great pandemic of 2020, but what you might not know is black love. Jamel and Kyla met in January of 2020, it wasn’t your traditional meeting place it actually happened online on a dating site. I’ve asked them and neither one can explain why they swiped right, but none the less they did and they matched. After some messages, then some texts and finally some phone calls Kyla decided Jamel wasn’t a creep an she wanted to meet for drinks. So they went and had a great time even though Kyla couldn’t learn to play pool to save her life despite Jamel being an outstanding teacher. At the time they were both very busy him working and going to school, and her working too and taking care of her beautiful children, so their next date took some time in planning, but Jamel says that’s where their love came to be. Although according to Kyla it happened later. On their second date Jamel took her to Olive Garden, according to Jamel at this point he “couldn’t have gotten rid of her if he tried” but as we all know he didn’t want to get rid of her. In March of 2020 we all know what happened, and even though it was a stressful and unprecedented time the two were able to spend more time together and the relationship blossomed from a long drive to the south, to a plane ride to Vegas Jamel and Kyla realized that they didn’t want anything else but to be together. They decided to bring family and friends together to witness them vow to spend the rest of their lives together and they thank you in advance for coming out to celebrate their story of Black Love with them.
