Adam and Kyla met at the Hahaione School basketball courts at Kyla's basketball practice. Adam did not want to go but his friend Micah convinced him to come.

Adam asked Kyla to be his girlfriend at sunrise on May 26, 2010. Adam and Kyla dated throughout their years at the University of Hawaii at Manoa getting their undergraduate degrees and did 3 years of long distance when Kyla went off to NYC to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Kyla was not easy to deal with during that time but Adam stuck through it like a champ! xD

After 8.5 years of dating, Adam FINALLY popped the question to Kyla at the place where they first met with both their families there to witness :)

Kyla and Adam were finalizing the details of their wedding in March 2020 but the world had other plans. With the current situation of COVID-19 changing day to day life Kyla and Adam made the decision to postpone the wedding celebration to ensure the health and safety of all their family and friends. Although the pandemic postponed the wedding, it didn't stop Kyla and Adam from getting married in a private ceremony on their original wedding date.
