COVID-19 Update

We love you!

In light of COVID 19 and the strict stay at home orders, with everyones safety and peace of mind at the front of our heart and heads, we would like to make the following announcement. On May 23, 2020 we will be married in a small, private, ceremony in Oklahoma. This will include Cole and Kyla, The Officiant, 2 Witnesses, and our photographer. These 6 persons will keep our “Event” within the state mandated guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. We have decided to push the reception date to May 22, 2021. This will allow us to celebrate with family and friends, when it is safer and will allow for less stress for everyone. While we know this is devastating to hear, please know that it was not an easy decision to make but COVID-19 will not stop our Happily Ever After! Even though this is not ideal, and this decision has been most difficult and stressful, we simply do not want to postpone our forever and this seems to be the best option for everyone to be with us on such a special and wonderful day without leaving anyone out or pushing our forever to a future date. With that being said – We are going to use FACEBOOK LIVE to broadcast our Forever to you! Please know, we know how important it is for everyone to be there on our special day, and how much we all want you there with us to start OUR FOREVER. We have discussed this and dissected it on every corner possible. Ultimately, we just believe whole heartedly if everyone can't come, nobody can come! This way, all of you get to be there and be apart of it! We would love it if you would join us on this very important day in our lives! We will be posting more information and directions to the live event on facebook as it gets closer. We will be very busy, but we have our love ones who’s information will be posted and they will help us to do our best to ensure everyone can witness our day.

Meet the Bride & Groom

The bride and groom grew up in different places: 637.8 miles apart! Kyla grew up in Birmingham, AL. She studied business in Tulsaloosa AL before she found a job and a company that stole her heart. 4 years later, Peak Campus has given her the opprotunity to live in 2 different states, work at 3 different properties, and gain experience in 5 different positions! She has met some of her best friends in this industry- it was worth taking time off school to follow that dream. Without taking that time, Peak Campus would have never brought her to Oklahoma where she met Cole! Cole grew up in Tulsa OK! Cole studies business at Oklahoma State University where he will gain a dregree in Management information Systems just two weeks before the big day! For 3.5 years Cole has worked with Best Buy in the Sales department and 1.5 years in Geek Squad as a Consultation Agent. Currently, he is interning at Interworks as an IT Intern in hopes of growing a continues relationship with this new company.

Once Upon A Time

December 31, 2017

The bride and groom first met on December 31, 2017. They met on an online dating profile- not only did they match on 1, they matched on 3! Their very first conversation happened on New Years Eve. Two weeks later they decided to go on their first date- they decided a very low key night was their best option. Cole went over to Kylas house where they watched scary movies and ate pizza. On 1/15/18 Cole made it official by asking Kyla to be his girlfriend! They have been together since!

She said yes!

March 11, 2019

It is 4pm on Monday 3/11. Kyla is at work, Cole is supposed to be at school in his Finance Class. Instead, Cole was at their apartment getting ready to pop the question. He texted her and said “I left a flash drive on my desk upstairs I think will you please go check to see if it's there and if it is bring it when you come get me I needed to show my Prof something on it and can't find it”. So of course Kyla runs up to get the flash drive, but instead of a flash drive she finds Cole waiting for her. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes!

A Very Hard Conversation...

04/06/2020

The afternoon of April 6, 2020 the couple sat down and had a very long and hard talk regarding the events that were taking place in the world- COVID-19. They knew that either way, their special day was not going to happen the way they envisioned it. Because of the severity of the virus, some family members wouldn't be able to come, there was a chance that the city of Tulsa would not allow for more than 10 to gather at a time, etc. So they decided, that if anyone was going to "make" them change the day of their wedding, it was going to be THEM! On May 23, 2020 they will be married in a small, private, ceremony in Oklahoma. They have decided to push the reception date to May 22, 2021 to celebrate with family and friends. While they know this was a hard decision to make, especially for the parents of the bride and groom, they were not going to let COVID-19 take away their Happily Ever After! The couple decided to take their ceremony to Facebook Live! We will have a group on Facebook inviting everyone to participate online! They know how important it is for everyone to be there on their special day, and unfortunately if everyone can't come, nobody can come! This way, all of you get to be there and be apart of it! We would love it if you would join us on this very important day in our lives!

Happily Ever After!

Mr. and Mrs. Larson

On May 23, 2020 the couple along with 5 friends, the officiant, and the photographer met at a small lake in Stillwater OK! At sunset, the couple were married surrounded with love and support from a Facebook LIVE feed with their closest friends and family watching from the safety of their home! You never think that something, like a global pandemic, would steal your wedding day from you.. good thing this couple didn't let it! After the small ceremony, the couple took amazing photos, enjoyed kick-ass Mexican food from Palominos, and played Uno all night long with their wedding party! They are so excited to celebrate with their friends and family on May 22, 2021!
